Gossip Girl: Spotted, H and S returning to
Spot Dessert Bar for some late afternoon sweets. What's in that box above? A Green Tearamisu! Matcha green tea essence and green tea madeleine sponge topped with shaved white chocolate.
And what's this? A Chocolate Green Tea Lava Cake werved with a green tea ice cream, you say? How do they get the green tea and white chocolate ganache in there?? I've made a lava cake from scratch before and I am baffled by how they got the green lava to not mix in with chocolate cake batter. Is it added in after? Is it added in frozen?
Regardless, the desserts here are absolutely yummy! The bar was packed compared to our first visit here. We were lucky enough to get the last table before the line-ups began.
I predict a future visit to try their Thai Tea Crème Brûlée, Smoked Coconut Cheesecake, Yuzu Eskimo, White Miso Semifreddo, Kabocha Brûlée Cake, and Soft Cheesecake. I hear they're opening a second location, too!
