Popbar

It feels kind of cold just blogging about Popbar now, but it was a great summer treat when we were there!

What drew us in was the amazing case of pops. Look at all those flavours! They are divided into popGelato, popSorbetto, and YogurtPop.

You can customize your pop by half or fully dipping into dark, milk, or white chocolate. Then you can also add "poppings" such as almonds, hazelnuts, coconut, or chocolate sprinkles to it. Some of the pops in the display case are already customized if you don't want to think of the numerous possibilities.

Howard and I both went for a popSorbetto, he got passion fruit and I got grapefruit.

Quite refreshing and we learned that the grapefruit pop is sweeter than the passion fruit one - although both were sour on their own.

I think our only quip would be service, not quite as friendly, but it could have been an off-day for the both of them.

  2. lyndsay, I wonder how well pops would do in Canada? Probably only during the summer! Yeah, service seemed grumpy because people took long to decide which flavour they wanted. =(
